YOUR ROLE
Tax Compliance assistance to the management team
- T4 and R1 pdf versions sent to Altagram Canada, so they can be handed over to the employees.
- All system information updates, including FSS rate and changes on employees' tax deductions and exemptions.
- Preparation of requested ROE's and assisting with responding to employees' requests and inquiries about legal/CRA/Revenue Quebec matters that are in your jurisdiction.
Payments & Budgeting
- Altagram Canada payments - Rent, Credit Card Balance, GST/QST, services provided by contractors at the office, freelancer payments, etc.
- Assistance with Bank procedures and communication.
- Help track and forecast expenses, revenue, and other financial figures.
- Support the team in developing budgets for various departments or projects.
- Ensure that the account balance is sufficient for bi-weekly payrolls and daily transactions in checking and credit accounts.
Miscellaneous requests
- Respond to Statistics Canada mandatory Surveys that happen around September every year.
- Respond to Revenu Quebec in case of financial questions.
- Assist with various projects, such as system upgrades, financial system implementation, or process improvements.
- Help other departments with financial or budgetary needs.
