Permanent employee, Full-time · Germany

LEVEL UP AND START A NEW ADVENTURE!
Do you speak the language of games? We’re on the hunt for a talented Localization Project Lead to join our in-house team in Berlin, someone who loves games as much as they love leading teams, shaping processes, and delivering top-tier localization for some of the most exciting AAA titles in the industry.

In this role, you’ll own the localization process from A to Z, lead a small team, and collaborate closely with clients and internal departments to ensure each project hits the mark in every language. If you're proactive, detail-loving, and eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you.

YOUR ROLE

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Lead and support a small team of localization professionals, providing clear direction and daily guidance.

Project Ownership

  • Facilitate the full localization lifecycle for assigned game projects (text, audio, QA).
  • Monitor timelines, budgets, and quality, ensuring smooth delivery across all languages.
  • Oversee internal and external linguist assignments, maintaining consistency in tone, terminology, and style.
  • Drive kick-off, status, and retrospective meetings to keep things sharp and evolving.
Client & Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients, communicating updates, handling feedback, and managing expectations with clarity and confidence.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Language Specialists, Audio, Engineering, and Lead Testers to align efforts and elevate outcomes.
  • Represent Altagram in meetings and contribute to growing client relationships.
Process & Quality

  • Optimize workflows and localization processes as we grow our portfolio of projects.

  • At least 4 years of experience managing localization projects, preferably in games, ideally with AAA clients.
  • Strong grasp of full-cycle localization: from text and audio to QA and delivery.
  • Confidence in handling client calls, managing feedback, and keeping many plates spinning.
  • A proactive problem-solver with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience with localization tools (e.g., memoQ) and an understanding of file formats and workflows.
  • Familiarity with internationalization and globalization principles.
