Founder Associate (m/f/d) - Video Game Localization

Permanent employee, Full-time · Germany

Your mission
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious, multi-talented individual who wants to see the inside of a fast-moving startup and work closely with the founder. You will work on different tasks that are required essentials for the company (pitch desks, market research, creating/measuring KPIs, as well as some non-glamorous tasks such as sending invitations for meetings, registering for online events, sending gift packages, etc.)
 
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
 
  • You will be assigned high priority projects to ensure we achieve our goals
  • You will have great autonomy, allowing you to identify problems, carry out analyses, design solutions and execute them
  • You will collaborate with different teams within the company to identify, review and solve problems
  • You will work on multiple projects in parallel that will require you to be adaptable across multiple functions
  • You will work directly with the CEO with the simple goal of saving them time.
This role provides an insight on how to build a business and get unique visibility into a great company and in a sector that is full of creative and passionate people.
The work can be done remotely but it is recommended to meet face to face time to time with the team and CEO. 
Your profile
 WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • You should be overqualified to be an assistant, but not have a problem doing assistant-like tasks.
  • You are a hyper-logical thinker and use a common sense to navigate through the information available
  • You have 2+ years of work experience in a fast-paced environment (startup / strategy consulting / game developer/publisher / Localization Service Provider)
  • You can break complex problems into smaller ones and enjoy working with data to facilitate your work using such tools as Excel
  • You are very curious in nature and interested in making an impact
  • You can make a good business case and convince people to help you execute – good communicator with all type of stakeholders
