Outsourcing Manager/ Vendor Manager - Video Game Localization (m/f/d)

Job Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and developing top-notch linguistic service providers for more than 45 languages for various multilingual video game localization projects, and maintaining the pool, ensuring a good balance between internal and external stakeholders. The main tasks include recruiting linguistic vendors, working closely with our Linguistic Team, Project Management, and Business Development to find the most appropriate and cost-efficient vendors for our projects, and supporting them with vendor-related issues daily. 
 
Your Profile
  • Recruiting of linguistic vendors for video game localization to extend our vendor pool
  • Developing, updating, and maintaining recruitment database
  • Updating and maintaining vendor database using ERP system
  • Creating and establishing recruiting processes, guidelines, and templates
  • Supporting our linguistic team, Project Management, and Business Development with vendor-related issues and pricing
  • Coordinating vendor testing processes
  • Negotiating prices and contracts
  • Onboarding new vendors
  • Being point of contact for vendors in case they have any problems with project, invoicing, payment etc.
  • Making sure vendors feel they are part of the team
  • Support of our in-house HR team in recruiting related tasks
 
Your profile
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written
  • Vendor management or project management experience, preferably in localization or translation industry
  • Recruitment experience is a big plus
  • Strong, positive communication and negotiation skills
  • Good technical understanding and strong MS Office skills
  • Experience in developing or handling databases
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently and decisively under pressure
  • Ability to work independently 
  • A passion for games is a plus
